Good morning! Nicole here today to share some inspiration using lots of florals! I am slightly obsessed with all floral patterns right now and it's a good thing that there are so many pretty floral patterns to be found in the Simple Stories collections. I hope to inspire you to dig into those floral patterned papers and get creative!

My first project is a literal interpretation of using floral patterns - I diecut some flowers on my digital die cut machine from some great floral patterns in the Faith collection.  I just love the pretty mix of pinks, teal and golden yellow and when trimmed down to floral shapes, they look pretty awesome!

I wanted to add some stems to my flowers, so I simply stapled on some natural twine and then added some loops and tucked them behind the flower shapes. I finished things off with a simple diecut title, some buttons and some great Simple Stories stickers on the flowers.

My next project uses lots of the floral patterns in a less obvious way. Using florals makes patterned paper mixing easy  as there is a collection of color choices already done for you!

I diecut some pie chart shapes and used the floral paper in this case to fill in the design. I was able to add in variations of color and pattern by using the simple pie chart shape to hold it all together. Look  how lovely all those pretty floral patterns look mixed together, but it's not overwhelming either!

I couldn't resist a diecut title with more floral patterns and added in some neutral letters stickers to finish off my title and then added in some stickers and enamel dots to complete the page.

Hey Simple Stories fans! Nicole here today to share a few projects using cut apart/element sheets in different ways! I love how each Simple Stories collection has different sized element sheets that can be simply clipped out for you to get creative with!

For my first project “Summer is a State of Mind”, I started with the cut apart sheet from Summer Days. I was too tempted to use a lot of the different cards and patterns, so I chose a few favorites and clipped them down a little to make some simple banners on my page.

You can see that I varied the size and shape of the pennant designs and then added in some smaller sized patterned papers to add to the flow of the pennants.

I love how the cards provided me a simple title for my page – one of the hardest things for me to decide to do on a layout is the title!

Now that my pennant designs were all ready to go, I was able to add some Cardstock stickersDecorative brads and Bits & Pieces to embellish each pennant quickly and easily too!

For my second layout, I took a more simple approach to the use of the cut apart sheet in the Hello Lovely Simple Set. I chose the “Hello Lovely” 4x6 journaling card from the sheet and used it as the title on my project.

The bold black adds a pop! to the page and creates a great focal point for the layout to come together. I added in some simple strips of paper from the Hello Lovely Simple Set, mixing in a little blue paper from my stash.

All there was really left to do is add some Cardstock Stickers from the collection using foam adhesive to pop them off the page slightly, and of course a few enamel dots I had left over from the Life in Color collection.

Hi everyone, Nicole here to share with you what I have been working with the newest Simple Stories collections.  I have a lot of masculine photos floating in my photo drawer and was drawn to the great colors and patterns in the Cabin Fever collection for my first page. I really love the camping theme, but thought I would just use those patterns to create a great masculine page.

I chose to punch out a lot of the fun circles on the Off the Grid paper as a starting point for my page. I lined the mixed patterned circles together in simple rows on one side of my page and secured in place with simple machine stitching. I added a fun Cabin Fever journaling card as well as a diecut title combined with some Simple Stories letter stickers.

I just love how easy it was to pull this page together with basics like patterned paper and a few stickers! I also love it when B-sides of paper are great for projects of all kinds!

My next page is a little more summery, using the Summer Days collection! I couldn't help but cut the vibrant yellow patterned paper into a sun ray pattern on my digital die cut machine for one side of my page.

I used the Simple Stories fringed heart Silouette cut file with various patterned papers in the collection and layered them together to help create a big and fun title to go along with that bold sunray shape!

A few yellow sequins from my stash help add a little sparkle to the big sunray on the page, and a few brads and enamel dots help finish off my title too!
