Do you love to craft?!  Of course you do!  Have you checked out the Simple Stories Crafty Girl Collection?  It’s the perfect way to meld your love of crafting – and I mean ALL your crafting (think sewing, painting, drawing, and journaling) with your love of paper crafting!  The colors are fun and feminine and you’ll find some pretty florals too!

I got to mixing all the elements of the collection together – colorful pattern paper,  chipboard, die cut bits and pieces and stickers to create these fun cards to share with my crafty friends!

Baby it’s cold outside!  It’s SNO GOOD to fight it!  Give into your inner child and embrace all the magic and excitement of a SNOW DAY!  Whether you want to hit the slopes, race down the best snow hill in down or stay home and build some snowmen there’s fun to be had by all!

The collection includes loads of embellishments – chipboard, die cut bits and pieces and stickers to personalize and document your perfect snow day!  I love the bright colors and fun patterns – think show, stripes and plaid!

Here are some cute cards I made to share with friends and family !  I had so much fun playing with all the different elements that I had 4 cards made in a flash!

This has to be one of the busiest times of the year!  We’re reuniting with friends and family.  The kids are off school, or coming home from college, and we’re running in all different directions.  There’s dinners to plan, and gifts to buy!. 

As the days start counting down to 2018 I’m filled with thoughts of how I can make this year better than the last. It’s time to reflect on accomplishments and failures of 2017.     Most of all, in 2018, I want to appreciate each moment and to live in the “now”.  I want to show appreciation for the ones I love EVERY day, and try to make a small difference to those I can help WHENEVER I can.
