Will you be my Valentine My Love?

Jomelle here today and it's my last blog post and project for Simple Stories. It has been wonderful the past 3 years. I've loved every minute of it. Today I would like to share a very simple last minute gift you can create for your love one for Valentine's Day.

I am using the "Simple Vintage My Valentine" Collection.

I decided to create a mini album in the shape of a heart. I plan to give this to my hubby on Valentine's Day.

First thing I did was I cut up heart shapes using 5 different 12x12 double sided cardstock papers. I used one of my heart shape calendars from my stash. You can choose which patterned paper you want to use.

Then I started decorating each of the hearts. I used chipboard stickers, bits & pieces, ephemera, washi tape and stickers from the 4x6 Sticker Tablet.

I started by putting the embellishment pieces together to see which ones I liked and then decorated each heart. With Simple Stories you can never go wrong with your embellishments. I like layering the pieces as well.

I used foam adhesive to "pop" some of the pieces for that 3D effect.

So there you go, easy last minute mini album for your love to give on Valentine's Day.

Thank you for stopping by and I would like to Thank Simple Stories and Amber Crowell for an amazing 3 years. I loved creating using all of your products. I'm hoping to be a part of this company in the future. Thank you again for this opportunity.

I am so excited to share my very first Snap project and Oh my goodness I had so much fun creating my album. First off, I would like to show how beautiful this "So Happy Together" Collection truly is. The colors are so bright and cheerful. I fell in love with the yellow color so I decided to use the yellow stripe 6x8 binder

Just look at all these amazing papers. They are all so pretty. The  color combinations are pretty amazeballs.
My family is everything to me so this collection is perfect for memory keeping for my family's adventures. I will be adding more to this album in the future. I would love to fill these pages with photos and memories.
I really wanted the word "family" to stand out so I created a very simple cover for my album.

I cut out these 2x2 elements from one of the 12x12 papers. I just arranged them how I wanted. Super easy to do.

Most of the paper elements I used are from the 12x12 papers that I cut up.

Tags, tags, and more tags. I decided to cut up small tags and inserted them inside these 2x2 pockets. I also added eyelets to add dimensions. I just thought they look really pretty and I can add photos or journals later on.

I made this large tags from the basic kit papers. By adding the twines, it will make it a lot easier to pull out the tags.

You can have so much fun with all the different sizes of pocket pages available.

Home is where the heart is.

Thank you for stopping by and viewing my very first Snap project. I promise you that you will be seeing more Snap projects from me as I am totally addicted creating them.

My family and I are a huge Disney Fans. The Say Cheese collection was one of my favorite, but now there's a Holiday version so I was really giddy and jumping up and down with joy.

Let me tell you that I am a scrapbooker at heart who is also a planner girl who loves creative planning and memory keeping. You can probably guess that I will be using this collection to set up my planner.
Being a planner girl, I love to show my desk view. I love decorating my desk with the current collection I am obsessing over. So guess what? I am obsessing with this collection at the moment.

I want to share with you what I love using in setting up my planner. First, I love love using the bits & pieces and the chipboard pieces. I normally use them to decorate and stuff my planner pockets so when I first open up my planner, I have a view that I can stare at all day long, well not all day but it gives me the chance to adore my set up.
Tell me you don't think these bits & pieces aren't cute? They are so adorable especially when I use them in my planner as decor.
I also love using the combo stickers. I mostly use them in my monthly and my weekly layout. As I mentioned, I love creative planning and memory keeping. Think of it as scrap booking but instead of creating 12x12 layout, I use the monthly and the weekly view and I just have fun and start decorating. You can also think about it as portable album that I carry with me everywhere.

I use the 12x12 double sided papers to create my insert cover. I would then decorate the front cover with embellishments.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you love this collection as much as I do. Well then, off I go to set up my planner.
