Traci Penrod's Blog Posts

Hi everyone!  It's Traci, back to share my Little Princess Sn@p album with you.  These pages were especially fun for me to create because I'm a mom of two boys.  Pink and princess themes haven't always been something I did a lot with ... until now!  My granddaughter has made my albums more colorful, and a lot more pink!

The 6x8 Little Princess paper pad is SO CUTE!  I loved this page so much I just adhered a few little bird die cuts with foam adhesive to give the paper some dimension.

I also had fun adding enamel dots (yes! they're back! Yippee!) around the little frame on the 3x4 card, and then repeated them around my 4x6 piece.

I used bits & pieces die cuts (love that dragon!), chipboard pieces, and those cute bow clips to embellish the pages.

I even tucked some darling bows into my 2x2 layout!  I think these insta-pocket pages add so much fun to a sn@p album.
The colors in this collection are perfection!!
This will be my last post here at Simple Stories so I want to thank you all SO much for letting me share my love of Sn@p Albums with you over the last two years!  Please come visit me over @artsyalbums on Instagram, and at my Artsy Albums blog, where my album addiction continues!

I've gotten a little behind on documenting my family's stories recently, so I've decided to try something new this year.  At the end of each month, I plan to go back through the month's photos on my phone and print my favorites. I want to keep it simple, so I'll put these photos into an album and document each month's highlights.  January came together super quick!

I used a 6x8 Sn@p binder and the Freezin' Season collection
for these pages. I love how my die-cut title fit perfectly in the 2x8 space on this pocket page.

I live in Georgia and we rarely get snow, but January is a winter month so these snowflake and embellishments worked great!

I love the little house die cuts in the bits & pieces package.  They were appropriate next to a picture of Rylee in the playhouse at her favorite store.

I love the patterns in these papers (Snuggle Up and the back of the 4x6 element sheet).  The swirls and dots reminded me of wrapping paper so I used them for my son's birthday page.

This was so easy! I'm looking forward to the end of February when I'll pick out my favorite photos from this month! Thanks for stopping by!

Recent family photos have been sitting on my desk just begging to be added to an album, and when I saw Kissing Booth I didn't immediately think of these pictures. It's a beautiful Valentine collection, but my family photos were taken in the fall. Would it work? You bet! I'm thrilled with the way I was able to document family love and togetherness with these pretty papers!

I used a black 6x8 Sn@p album and incorporated black and white card stock in with the patterns. The die cuts are so pretty ... lots of flowers, hearts, and cute sayings that are perfect for Valentine's Day or general everyday family moments.

Even though I love the divided photo sleeves, I used more of the full 6x8 pages for this album. I enjoy creating full scrapbook pages, and with this size I don't have to commit to an entire 12x12 page.
In addition to bits & pieces die cuts, I also used chipboardpuffy stickers, and combo stickers throughout the album. And by the way, my granddaughter IS sweet, don't ya think :) ?
I confess that the Feb. 14 chipboard doesn't match up with the photo I tucked into the pocket, but I loved the piece on this page.  I'll add Valentine photos of this little sweetie when I have some in a few weeks.
