Traci Penrod's Blog Posts

It's been a few years since my son and daughter-in-law got married, but a small gift album had been on my to do list for a while.  I wanted a 4x6 album with some of our favorite photos from the big day, and I knew the Always and Forever collection would be perfect for this project.

I kept the album simple and used clear stickers on photos and pocket cards.

The die cuts, chipboard stickers, and element cards helped make the album fun, and added space for journaling that I wanted to record.

I especially love the page above.  Although you can't tell in the photo, I wish you could see the pretty gold foil on the die cuts!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today and taking a peak into my mini album!  The products I used for this project are:

Hi crafty friends!  It's Traci, from Artsy Albums, and I'm so happy to be back as part of the 2018 creative team!  The pocket album I want to share with you today is all about my crafty adventures ...  creative retreats, scrapbook time with friends, and CHA visits.  The new Crafty Girl collection was perfect for documenting these fun memories!

I used a 6x8 pocket for the first page and added a 4x6 element card to the front of a fold out.  Inside the card, is a photo from my first trip to the summer Craft & Hobby Association convention.

I love that Simple Stories makes the 6x8 paper pad for most of their collections.  I used one of the pages from the pad for the title page below.  I like how it breaks up the smaller spaces throughout the album.

There are so many cute embellishments with Crafty Girl!  I like layering them right over the pocket edges.  The cute camera above is a chipboard sticker and the adorable little journaling spot is from the bits and pieces.

Have you noticed that the tab stickers fit right on the chipboard tabs in your snap albums?  How fun is that?

I know all of you crafty girls are loving this colorful new collection!  Have fun...and be sure to document your crafty adventures.

As papercrafters, sometimes a paper collection comes along that makes you immediately think of a set of photos, an event, or a memory.  When I saw the Romance collection, I knew some beautiful pictures of my son and daughter-in-law would work perfectly in an album.

I love the vintage, romantic feel of this paper line.  The cover was easy to embellish by layering several 3x4 cards.

These gorgeous photos were taken by Hillary Leah Photography here in Georgia, and I just love that the pictures worked so well with the beautiful blues and pinks in Romance.
I used the 12x12 collection kit, along with the chipboard pieces and  4x6 stickers.

I hope I've inspired you to use Romance for lots of different projects, not just Valentine's Day.  It is so pretty for weddings, date nights, everyday family photos, or even baby pictures!  Enjoy!
