A big hello to you friends!  I hope you’re having a great day!  Today I’m sharing EIGHT cards made with the Simple Stories So Happy Together Collection.  This collection celebrates everything that makes a house a home.

That could mean welcoming someone to their new home, welcoming a new addition to their home or just celebrating the friends and family that make our lives complete.  Being told your loved never gets old.

You’ll find lots of fun papers in this collection. florals, newsprint, plaids, gingham stripes, and more like this one covered with picture frames in coral, navy, yellow and mint.

The collection includes Bits and Pieces printed and die cut images of homes complete with landscaping, flowers and comfy chairs.   You’ll also find journal Bits and Pieces great for personalizing your one of a kind creations. I love the clever sentiments printed inside picture frames!

The chipboard pieces are my favorites because they’re thick and add lots of dimension to your projects.  Because they’re stickers you just peel off the backing and you’re read to adhere them anywhere you like.

If you’re a card maker like me you’ll love the 6x8” paper pads.   If you cut them in half, you’ll have two 4 x 6” panels perfect for A2 card fronts.  The patterns are the same as the larger size sheets but in a smaller size scale.  The pads even include sheets of journaling cards.

The Paper Basics sheets are solid print papers ideal for layering under pattern paper backgrounds for a clean look.

These cards are great way to welcome someone new into the neighborhood, celebrate a new addition to the family or just show appreciation for those who mean the most to you in life.

It’s true, home is where the heart is and that means it’s wherever we find ourselves together surrounded by all those that we love the most.

Hi friends!  It’s Jeanne here today!  You know I love to make cards, and making is easy with lots of printed die cut images (Bits & Pieces), beautiful pattern paper, and loads of embellishments all perfectly coordinated to work together.  I like to send cards with long notes tucked inside to friends all year long.

Today I’m sharing EIGHT cards made with the Simple Stories Winter Farmhouse collection.  The images are a breath of fresh air, like a trip to the country.   Living in Indiana, there’s a lot that feels like home in this collection for me.

I scissor cut wavy hills from pattern papers to look like a patchwork quilt of farm fields  and others with straight edges to make cozy indoor scenes – half carpet and half wallpaper.

I like to lay out all the printed die cut bits and pieces and chipboard images  and arrange them on sheets of plastic the same size as my card base. Some of the pieces just seem like they’re meant to be together like the snowman and pine trees on my card below.

The Mini Sticker tablet is perfect for adding small sentiments and embellishments after your cards are arranged.  The thick chipboard pieces add dimension and add an expensive look to your cards.

This collection has lots of traditional reds and greens for the holidays with a contrasting cool pale blue that’s 100% country.  The addition of mustard gives a warm comfy cozy feel.

I love that you’ll find everything you need for a little outdoor play – old fashioned wood sleds, cozy mittens and sweaters, snowmen and snows hovels.

When you’re done playing outside you can head for home and warm up by the fire with a warm cuppa and a soft throw to keep you cozy.

Capture your winter play and the comfy cozy feeling of “no place like home” with the Simple Stories Winter Farmhouse Collection.

Supplies

Hello Simple Stories friends!  It’s Jeanne here today and I’m happy to be sharing some Christmas cards made with the Say Cheese Christmas Collection.   This collection captures the childhood delight of Christmas as only the most magical place on earth can do!

The collection is filled with bright colorful papers in traditional red and green with a touch off pink and pastel blue.  The patterns are candy cane stripes, sprinkle dots, poinsettias, snowflakes, and everything nice.

There are two sets of bits and pieces available in this collection.  The iconic bits and pieces that include lots of holiday images like ornaments, presents, flowers and sentiments.  There’s also a Happy Kids Bits and Pieces pack that includes all the cute kids you see on my cards today.

The two packs of bits and pieces are sized perfectly to work together so you don’t have to worry about mixing and matching die cuts from both packs.

The sticker sheet that comes with the collection kit also has lots of sentiments, images and tabs too.  Again, everything is perfectly color coordinated so you know it will be a perfect match every time.

I had lots of fun mixing and matching the papers from this bright collection.  I always start by cutting the 12” papers into 6” squares.  I layout all the images on a piece of plastic the size of my card face and lay it over different pattern papers.  The clear plastic allows me to pick up the entire arrangement and see it over the papers before I commit and adhere everything in place.

This set includes 6x12” Chipboard Stickers too.  These are my favorite to work with!   I love how the thick study pieces add dimension.  Because they have adhesive backing, they couldn’t be easier to make with.

This collection makes me feel as though I’m seeing the holidays through the eyes of a child.  What a magical world!

You’ll have lots of fun making fun holiday cards with the different elements in the Say Cheese Christmas Collection, and because the fun is contagious, your recipients will be smiling too!
