Hi everyone! It’s Tara from Secretbees Studio and I’m here to show you how you can take your favorite Simple Stories paper collections and create your own Travelers notebook! Travelers Notebooks are not just for journaling- they are so awesome for collecting memories, thoughts and mementos and you can fill them with pictures too. This gorgeous notebook showcases the 'Beautiful' paper collection from Simple Stories along with its stunning stickers, chipboard and Bits and Pieces!

I used sturdy chipboard to create the covers and spine of the notebook along with a few other supplies like sticky back canvas, bookbinding tape and elastic cord. I also added some plain paper inserts to my notebook that I covered with more of the gorgeous ‘Beautiful’ patterned paper.

There is also a hand crafted paper insert in the center of this notebook with folding pages, pull-outs and pockets! More room for all of your favorite memories using the papers and embellishments from the collection! Please visit my youtube channel for a full video tutorial on how to create this beautiful Travelers Notebook! Thanks for visiting!

Hi everyone! It’s Tara, aka Secretbees Studio  here with you today to share the sweetest mini scrapbook made with the ‘Vintage Blessings’ paper collection! It’s no secret that I love making mini albums and when you have a fabulous collection like this one, it is so easy and enjoyable!

This paper collection is all about love for family, friends and Fall! There are sweet vintage images paired with lots of hearts, florals and birds in the deep, beautiful colors of Fall. This pocket and tag album is perfect to display all of the wonderful patterns that mix and match so well together!

This is a chunky little album measuring about 3.25" by 4.25" and is full of 6 pockets and coordinating tags. The die I used allows you to cut as many pockets as you would like but depending on the embellishments, I would say 5 or 6 is the limit! That gives you lots of space for all of your Fall memories!

Each pocket holds a tag that I die cut first out of card stock for sturdiness. Each tag was then layered with a smaller tag of the pretty patterned papers of the collection. Because my mini has so many pockets, I kept each tag thin by just adding a few charming stickers. Here are the fronts of all of the tags!

And of course, the just as adorable back sides of the tags! The colors in this collection are so rich and lovely!

I just had to show you the inside front cover! The patterned paper of tiny houses is so sweet and I popped off the word 'love; from the background so there is plenty of room to slide a photo in!

Each pocket and tag combo is beautiful and unique, but I do have some favorites! I am a sucker for florals and Simple Stories does them in the most gorgeous way! This flowered pocket is highlighted with the amazing birdie washi tape and one of the sweet birds in the collection!

No surprise, another fabulous floral sticker together with a Bits & Pieces sentiment!

I just love the contrasting patterns and colors of this pocket! The mix of mustard yellow with soft pink and turquoise  are so retro and stunning! I have added in a heart and sentiment ephemera from the Bits & Pieces pack for just the right touch!

There are more pretty pockets to this mini album and if you would like to see them all, I invite you to my Instagram or youtube channel for a short video showing all of them! The 'Vintage Blessings' paper collection is a definite must-have for your Fall memories!

Hi everyone! It’s Tara from Secretbees StudioHave I mentioned that I love decorating for Halloween?! Well I do and I have another fabulous project showcasing the beautiful and spooky 'Spellbound' Simple Set.

I just love it when a paper collection isn't all cute-sy and sweet and this one is perfect for Halloween with dark, rich colors and creepy images!  Plus, the stickers included are freaky too and I knew they would look awesome in a Halloween shadowbox!

This shadowbox is about 6 inches square and has great little cubbies just waiting to be filled up and decorated. The large cubby is the main attraction and I wanted to give it lots of depth and dimension. I used a piece of the 'Something Wicked' paper to create the background and then used the tree branch sticker to create depth and give the spooky spider something to hang from. I propped the frame  up and layered more sinister 'Spellbound' stickers with it. If you look closely, you can see that I added a tiny purple gem to the eyeball and some jewel drops to the potion in the bottle!

Each of the smaller squares features layered pieces of the other patterned papers and are all topped with small square stickers from the collection! I popped up different parts in each square for more dimension and added a couple of small gems to the spider and web.

I didn't want to pass up using the great 'Happy Halloween' sticker that is included on the sticker sheet! I applied the bottom half to a folded piece of patterned paper, leaving the top portion of the words free. I adhered the paper to the top of the shadowbox and added in one small word sticker as well! Such a perfect addition to my scary Halloween decor! Thanks for visiting the blog!
