Jennifer Haggerty's Blog Posts

Hello its Jennifer and I'm back to share another page I  created using the Romance collection!  There is so much about this line to love: from the die cut hearts to the delicate floral prints!  For my second layout, "XOXO", I  did a traditional Valentines page and documented photos of my children from their classroom parties. These are definitely sweet memories for me since both kids are out of elementary school!

I  love to cluster my smaller embellishments together such as the die cut hearts from the Bits and Pieces pack. You can also see one of the gorgeous floral clusters from the Combo Sticker Sheet.  I  have always been a dimensional scrapper and use pop dots with my die cuts, as well as mix in chipboard pieces such as the small butterfly. One of the many reasons why Simple Stories rocks is the variety of embellishments! I  love having choices!

How cute are these  "XOXO" letters that are found on the 6x12 Chipboard sheet?  They make for a great title accented with coordinating stickers and chipboard pieces!

One of the 4x6 Sticker sheets has small "washi" type strips of patterns that are perfect to layer! Here, I  used two along with the Forever Washi Tape to accent my photo followed by stitching through with my sewing machine!

Thank you for stopping by today! What is your favorite embellishment from the Romance collection?

Hello! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a layout I created with the beautiful Romance collection! I love the soft colors mixed in with the blacks and woodgrains! This line is geared towards Valentines Day but it can be used for love or any special occasion! For my layout, "Adore", I  scrapped a sweet photo of my niece and brother-in-law getting ready to attend a Father-Daughter Dance this year!

The Bits and Pieces pack is full of fun shapes such as colored hearts, floral clusters, and journaling spots! You can also spy the floral Forever Washi Tape which coordinates with the collection.  And how cute are the little sentiment stickers found on the 4x6 Sticker Sheets?

I  used the "XOXO" Simple Stories cut file from the Silhouette store for my background. I  then used different patterns from the collection to back my cardstock.  You can also see the gorgeous banner found on the Combo Sticker Sheet that I  adhered across the bottom of my photo. I  used pop dots to give the banner dimension.

Thank you for stopping by today! You can check out this collection in its entirety by going to the Products page! And while you are there you can see all of the fabulous NEW releases from Simple Stories!  Have a great day!

Hello friends! It's Jennifer and I'm back to share another layout I created using the fabulous 2018 Simple Set!  Is New Years a big event in your household? We've always kept things pretty low key and have celebrated at home with our kids.  Even if we are invited out, we usually take them with!

For my layout, "Celebrate", I  scrapped a favorite photo of my children from a friends' NYE party.  They were so happy to wear party hats and watch the ball drop in Times Square with the adults!

How cute is this journaling card with the tassels across the top?  I  love anything that is a banner or banner-like so my eye was drawn to this pattern instantly!  I  added coordinating stickers from the 6x12 Sticker Sheet for my title and to accent my journaling.

Using my Silhouette, I  cut these fun star banners out of the festive patterns of 2018 and adhered them across the top o of my page. I  then used some of the stickers to accent as well as some enamel dots from my stash.
