Jennifer Haggerty's Blog Posts

Hello! Jennifer on the blog today to share a page I created using the fun Good Vibes collection!  This line has something for just about everyone with its bold colors and patterns mixed in with muted grays and pastels! You could scrap an "every day" kind of event, spring, or summer vacations!  For me, I wanted to document a favorite photo of my teen daughter. I sometimes "steal" pictures off her Instagram since she's not too keen on having her photo taken LOL

One of my favorite prints of Good Vibes is the grey/woodgrain and white chevron print of "Be Amazing" so I knew I wanted to incorporate that into my page! I  adhered strips to each side  along with both prints of "You Got This"! Using my sewing machine, I added stitching through the strips.

The 6x12 Chipboard Sheet has many fun pieces to choose from to accent your page! I used the hot pink "good vibes" script along with the multi-colored heart for my title.  The bright colors are eye-catching as well as bring the prints together! You can also spy the coordinating Aztec Washi Tape that ties in with the paper as well as border strip on the Combo Sticker Sheet!

The Bits and Pieces pack has many different sized accents for your page such as this circle journaling spot and fun sentiment!  I   added a small flag from one of the 4x6 Sticker Sheets as well.  Anyone else out there starting to hoard the Carpe Diem Roller Stamps? They are so fun to use on scrapbook pages or in mini albums! I  used the I  Am Roller Stamp to accent my journaling as well as on other spots on my page.

To the left of my photo, I layered different embellishments to create a semi-border and used pop dots where needed. I  did not have any certain rules on whether the embellishments had to touch; just whatever looked right. Sometimes a finished page is by a bit of trial and error! I  am known to rip items off my page until it looks "just right" LOL

Showing more of the layers including this floral cluster and cute nail polish bottle! Adding in smaller stickers such as hearts or the circle sentiments from the 4x6 Sticker Sheets is a nice accent.

Hello! Jennifer on the blog to share a layout using the Crafty Girl collection!  There is so much to love about this line with the bright colors and prints as well as the fun scrappy sentiments!  Every piece in this line makes the crafter in me smile!  I  knew it would be perfect to scrap about my fun time at Creativation in 2017!

I  opted to use wallet sized photos so I could include multiple pictures on my page!  Also, arranging my photos and embellishments in a "clothes line"  fashion allowed me to fit in extra pieces of die cuts from the Bits and Pieces pack. I  placed pop dots behind both photos and die cuts where allowed to add dimension and so my mini clothes pins would fit!

How cute is this circle journaling die cut from the Bits and Pieces? I'm always a fan of ledger paper mixed with patterns! Underneath, I layered patterned sticker strips from the 4x6 Sticker Sheet as well as the cute paint splash Imagine Washi Tape! The 4x6 Sticker Sheets have multiple smaller shapes to accent your photos such as hearts, flowers or the "craftiness is happiness" sticker shown here!

Each photo is matted on white cardstock to resemble a Polaroid photo.  I  then added small stickers or pieces from the

6x12 Chipboard.   One of my favorite die cuts is the washi tape rolls! I  included them as a piece on the "banner" along with the adorable tag you see here!

Wedding photos are one of my favorite memories to scrapbook because they are a reminder of the love and joy of that day!   Always & Forever is a timeless collection full of class and beauty without being over the top!  The bonus is that it can be used for other similar events such as proms, dances, or anniversaries!  I  chose this favorite photo of my daughter when she was a flower girl for our niece's wedding. The photographer caught her spinning in her pretty dress before the ceremony like many little girls love to do!

I  began with a grey/black ombre sheet of cardstock from Bazzill for my background cut file (Circle Heart Mask from Paper Issues). I  wanted to incorporate as many of the beautiful patterns as I  could so I  used my circle hand punch to place papers behind each circle on the die cut.  For my title, I  used the "Live Happy" cut file (#227456) from Simple Stories found in the Silhouette Shop and cut from gold foil cardstock.  I  thought it would go perfect with the gold foil accents found on the embellishments!

I  added small embellishments from the Bits and Pieces pack as well as the 6x12 Chipboard on a few of my circles to accent. I    also love these sentiment stickers found in the 4x6 Sticker Sheets!  I  use them on all of my projects!

I  also love to tuck items like this cute tag under my photos! The Bits and Pieces packs always have a few coordinating tags just for accent or to journal!  You can also see the gorgeous "best day ever" chipboard "banner as well as gold foil chipboard heart!
