Jennifer Haggerty's Blog Posts

Hello friends! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a page I created using the beautiful Kissing Booth collection!  This line has the right combination of vintage and whimsical mixed with its classic prints and florals!  Kissing Booth can be used of course for Valentines Day, but also for weddings, love, or any theme that fits your project!  I  actually documented a photo I  took on a family trip to Michigan this past summer! We stopped to eat at a restaurant that had a large metal heart on the side; of course I  bribed my kids for a photo!

I  began with kraft cardstock for my background then layered the multi-print heart pattern of Love Day across the top third.  For my title, I   used a cut file from Just Nick with white cardstock and three favorite prints (I  LOVE the plaid of Crazy In Love!). I  then added accents such as the cute little hearts from the Puffy Stickers as well as a sentiment from the 4x6 Stickers.

I  always like to utilize the Journaling Elements if possible...especially if there is a ledger/notebook print!  This card from the 3x4 Elements was perfect to jot down information about my photo.  I  did layer another 3x4 card underneath for contrast as well as added a date stamp and sentiment. You can also see additional cute embellishments such as the xoxo tag from the Bits and Pieces and the "jar of hearts" found on the 6x12 Chipboard.

At the top left corner of my page, I  added my own banner using a hand punch. I  found my prints on the 4x6 Horizontal and Vertical Elements.  After stitching through the top with my sewing machine, I  added chipboard hearts and another cute sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today! You can see the entire collection of Kissing Booth by going HERE!  Have a great day!

Hello!  It's Jennifer here today to share a layout I created with the beautiful Merry and Bright collection!  I'm a big fan of the whimsical prints with the traditional red, green, and white Christmas colors! And I  love that there is a black and white buffalo plaid print!

I scrapped a photo of our sweet pug, Max, from last Christmas.  We lost him this past fall so it goes to show that taking photos is so important! I  started with kraft cardstock followed by adhering a 11x11 inch piece of the B side of the 4x6 Horizontal Elements. I place strips of the beautiful plaid of Celebrate the Season as well as Holiday Memories across the bottom.

I  affixed my photo to a white piece of cardstock fashioning it to look like a Polaroid frame.  For my title, I  used the cute "have yourself a merry little christmas" sentiment from the 6x12 Chipboard.  You can also spy some of the coordinating Washi Tape underneath that comes with the collection!

Just under the corner of my photo, I  adhered one of the journaling spots from the Bits and Pieces pack.  I  then affixed this cute red truck chipboard circle. to accent.

Across the middle of my layout, I  wanted to create a "clothesline" of sorts to tie in some of the die cut embellishments  as well as a couple of the Tags and Frames.  Using pop dots, I  affixed my embellishments to the page while running bakers twine along the tops. From my stash, I  added mini clothespins to give extra dimension.

Here is one of the tags from the Tags and Frames pack along with a red flower I  attached to the top with my clothespin.  I  also layered the cute "peace love joy" tree which is also found in the Tags and Frames.  At the bottom of my Santa tag, you can also see some stamping with the Classic Christmas Roller Stamp!

At the top of my page, I  utilized a cut file to create a border with different patterns (Snowflake Border #69597). Some of the pieces, I  layered two different papers, while others are a single pattern. I   affixed smaller die cuts from the Combo Sticker Sheet as well as  6x12 Chipboard.

Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm so excited to share my layout with you today using the Simple Vintage Christmas collection! What is not to love about this line from the gingham and plaid prints to the traditional holiday tones. I  thought instantly about doing a page with an "old fashioned" photo and found these gems from when I  was a little girl. I  was so proud to wear my Christmas dress and so grateful my mom took photos of me.

I  started with a kraft cardstock background mounted on the beautiful plaid print of the B side of Dear Santa. I  love incorporating Simple Stories' cut files from the Silhouette shop and used the "Circle Wreath" with the musical note print of Jolly Holiday.  I  then added embellishments from the Bits and Pieces pack as well as the 12x12 Combo Sticker Sheet.  around the wreath.

For my title, I  popped up one of the sentiments from the Combo Sticker Sheet layering it over a beautiful poinsettia die cut. I  also used pop dots on the vintage Santa found in the Bits and Pieces and accented with smaller embellishments such as Chipboard hearts and star die cuts. I  typed my journaling on one of the 3x4 Elements as well as added a bit of the adorable Washi that coordinates with the collection!

Thank you for reading today! I  hope this inspires you to scrap some of your older holiday photos! Maybe even do a page about you! Have a great day!
