Hello! It's Jennifer and I'm here today to share a fun mini album I created using one of the new Designer Binders and the Winter Wonderland collection!  This line includes a great selection of patterned papers and embellishments that are perfect for your winter projects!  Another smash hit from Simple Stories!

I used some older photos of a ski trip my husband and I took to the Catskills in New York.

I chose to decorate the front of my Designer Binder but it's pretty on its own! I love the cabana stripes of white and Robin's Egg!  My favorite print is the plaid of "Bundle Up" so I wanted it to be prominent on my cover! I used a 2 1/2 inch strip along with a wood grain border sticker from the Combo Sticker Sheet.  I then added little embellishments from the 6x12 Chipboard as well as coordinating Enamel Dots!  How cute is the chipboard snowman?

For my pages, I used the 6x8 Pocket Pages Variety Pack so I could include different sizes of photos and journaling cards.  I included 3x4 and 4x6 Journaling Elements which are perfect to add a little bit of journaling or coordinating embellishments!

A must in my pocket pages is creating a see-through pocket with sequins and small embellishments such as die cuts and wood veneer pieces.  I use my sewing machine to stitch around the edges to secure my pocket.

I am a fan of layers and had fun "dressing up" the journaling cards! Using a shape hand punch or die cuts are great way to add depth to your pages!  I used a pennant hand punch with the multiple patterns and stitched through. I also added some of the journaling spots found in the Bits and Pieces pack.

Using pop dots or foam tape is also another fun way to add to your pocket pages!  I popped up the pinecone as well as the ticket on my 4x6 Journaling Element Card.  For the "Eat, Sleep, Ski" card I used the skis die cut and popped it up over the print. I love how it turned out!

Also included in the Variety Pack are pages with 4x4 pockets perfect for the 4x4 Journaling Elements.  I also created my own cards by using patterned paper and embellishments.

Here, I layered different sizes of circle hand punches as well as pieces from the Bits and Pieces, Stickers, and Enamel Dots to create a fun card!  Note the small stamped sentiment from the Carpe Diem Roller Stamp!

Did you know Simple Stories has a large variety of cut files here in the Silhouette shop?  Many are the perfect size to place in your pockets such as this "Live Laugh Play" card! I cut it from the B side of  "Silver White Winter"  and backed it with the red/white plaid of  "Snow Cute"

I used the 6x8 Pocket Page to create a larger page to showcase a favorite photo. I actually used one of the 4x12 Elements layering paper and embellishments to border my picture.  And can you tell I love banners? I used the "Best Time Ever" cut file from the Simple Stories Silhouette shop as well as more hand punched pennants. To finish I stitched through with my sewing machine as well as added a couple cute chipboard snowflakes!

Of course Winter Wonderland has a variety of 4x6 Journaling Elements!  I wanted to do a spread of this size because my photos are from the early 2000's prior to digital cameras. They aren't the best quality but definitely some of my favorites!

Another banner! I used the "Frosty" die cut from the Bits and Pieces that I popped up over hand punched pennants. I added the cute ice skates and mittens at the ends of my banner as if they were "hanging" at the ends.  This collection has so many cute little pieces to choose from!

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope this inspires you to do some creating with Winter Wonderland and the Designer Binders! Have a great day!

Hello!  It's Jennifer on the blog today sharing layouts I created with the new Mistletoe Kisses collection!  I always appreciate a Christmas line that has non-traditional colors and Mistletoe Kisses hits the target!  The soft blues and pinks with hints of red and green are perfect for your fun holiday themed projects!  I'm one of those moms that tries to do separate scrapbooks for my kids so many times I'm scrapping the same photo twice!  Mistletoe Kisses has great colors for your favorite girl!

For my first layout, "Believe", I combined pieces of the B sides of Holly Jolly and HO HO HO on white cardstock.  To add a pop of color, I cut a strip of Christmas Magic and adhered it to the top of my page. A little stitching with my sewing machine finished my background! I then used cards from the 4x6 Horizontal Elements under my photo; this is a great way to utilize the journaling cards if you aren't going to save them for a mini album or pocket scrapbook!

How adorable are these trees?  I used the multi-colored chipboard tree along with two of the die cuts from the Bits and Pieces pack!  I then added a heart and sentiment sticker found on the Combo Cardstock Sticker Sheet to one of the trees!

I love the large variety of Simple Stories Cut Files found in the Silhouette shop!  For my title, I cut the "Believe" script from white cardstock.  I also added one of the cute typed sentiments found in the Bits and Pieces as well as strips of coordinating washi tape!

New to the Simple Stories collections are roller stamps!  Here, I used the Classic Christmas Roller Stamp to stamps 'peace.love.joy' above my date; this stamp includes twelve different phrases to choose from!

I love this string of lights included on the 6x12 Chipboard Sheet!  I adhered it to the top corner of my page to add some depth!  And note the silver foil accent which gives the embellishments extra shine!

For my next layout, "Night Before Christmas", I again used white cardstock as my background. What can I say? I love white!  :) I cut my cardstock down to 11x11 and adhered it to the B Side of Oh What Fun. Using a snowflake background from the Silhouette shop (again cut in white cardstock), I lightly misted with pink and light blue spray ink.   Once dry, I added stitching around the edge of my page using my sewing machine.

Here is a close up of the misted background! I added a few of the coordinating Enamel Dots some of the centers of the snowflakes.

Even with the mini collections, you still have many different embellishments to choose from!  I happen to love them all and often cluster my elements together!  Here, I used a journaling spot and die cut snowflakes from the Bits and Pieces pack!  The chipboard snowman is adorable, too!

I also love the variety of sentiment stickers on the Combo Cardstock Sticker sheet!  Here, I used one as my title along with a cute light bulb and Enamel Dots!  The "it's a wonderful life" sentiment is from the Classic Christmas 4x6 Sticker Sheet set!

One of my favorite new embellishment are the Decorative Clips!  They are perfect to add to the top of your photo or at the top of a page in a mini album!

Hello friends! It's Jennifer here on the blog today to share my 6x8 SN@P! Binder I created using the new Hello Fall collection!   I'm usually a layout creator for the team but I had the opportunity to change things up and create a mini book!  Albums are second favorite on my list of scrapbook creations!

I started with the 6x8 SN@P! Binder in Brown which includes kraft chipboard dividers, SN@P! Pages, and pocket pages! So you will definitely have a variety of elements to use in your book! I used some of the beautiful fall prints from Hello Fall to cover the front of my album including the woodgrain leaf and acorn print of "Harvest Season"

I love to layer on my pages and Simple Stories has many fun embellishment to choose from!  I started with 3x4 Journaling Card Elements for my base then started adding different embellishments including die cuts from the Bits and PiecesBradz, andChipboard pieces.  How cute are the new Decorative Clips?!

This is one of my most favorite times of the year! Hello Fall captures the beauty of fall with its warm colors and classic prints! The SN@P! Binder is perfect to document a fun fall event or some favorite photos!  One recent warm October afternoon, I bribed my kids to take some good photos at a local pumpkin farm!   At the ages of 10 and 13, they are so fond of the camera! Here, I used one of the kraft inserts and covered with the beautiful wood grain print of "Falling For You" as well as added the Capture This Moment Simple Stories Silhouette Cut File.

The SN@P! Pages included in the album are fun to work with, too,  as they are "ledger type" prints and you're able to add lots of color!

The deep orange of "Sweater Weather" is gorgeous in person! I added one of my favorite photos of my daughter as well as a fun circular cut file. I then finished by adding in small embellishments including die cuts, chipboard pieces, and Bradz.  I love how it turned out!

Showing some of the die cuts and stickers that are included in the collection!  I love the little squirrel as well as the multi-colored leaves!  I also added  a cute sentiment found in the Bits and Pieces as well as added my date on a ledger sticker from the 4x6 Sticker Set

For this page, I fussy cut a portion of the hexagons from "Warm and Cozy" and placed it behind my photo.  I then added in chipboard and sticker elements to accent!

I love including pocket pages in my mini albums and you receive an assortment of sizes in the SN@P! Binders!  Here, I used the 3x4 Journaling Cards to go along with my photos.

I love the transparency of pocket pages so its always fun to add a pocket of sequins and small embellishments such as wood veneer shapes!  I will then use my sewing machine to stitch around the edges to ensure my embellishments are secure.

I love the 4x4 Journaling Card Elements as well!  I paired one with this black and white photo of my daughter.

I also created a 6x8 sheet to fit the insert included in the binder! I adhered two of my 4x6 photo to the B-side of "Celebrate Fall"and accented with a cute decorative pin and sticker!

Thank you for stopping by today! Be sure to check out this collection in its entirety on Simple Stories Products Page! Have a wonderful day!
