Hello everyone! Nathalie with you today with a new layout that celebrates those sweet baby sleeping moments ( i so miss seeing my kids sleeping faces!).  The new Simple Stories  "OH, BABY!" collections are ideal to document all those sweet baby moments

To start this page, i drew a few stars on some of the patterned papers of the Oh, Baby! collection, and the Oh, Baby! Expecting collection,  backed them with white cardstock, and added a bit of hand stitching around the edges.

To create the title of the page, a JustNick Studio cut file was used.  All the letters of the cut out were backed using papers from the Oh, Baby! paper pad.  Having the smaller pattern of the large papers is perfect to combine and display a lot of color  in the title.  The chipboard sticker just completes the sentiment of the title and page.

I wanted to create a very soft look for this page, so I used a sheet of vellum to cover a light blue piece of cardstock, and added all the  the stars, picture and title on top of the vellum piece.

Just a few extra details were added to the picture and around the stars.  All those little star stickers are a easy way to complete the look of the page.   A few drops of gold ink were added to bring some shine to the page!

Love the softness of the page, and all the starry background is the perfect frame for my sweet sleeping cousin.  The new Oh, Baby! collections are ideal to document your parenting journey, and beyond!  Remember to chek them out at your local scrapbook store.

Hi there, it’s Emma here and as promised I’m bringing you a blog full of rainbows and unicorns this month, with the magical new collection by Simple Stories, Dream Big.

I know every month I say ‘this is definitely my favourite’ and that is true, because every single collection Simple Stories brings out, and I’m lucky enough to work with, is my favourite! This particular collection is bursting full of rainbows, unicorns, fairies and all things little girls (and big girls) dream of! I’ve chosen the new Carpediemplanners Blush Speckle TN to set up, the pretty blush pink works beautifully with all the dreamy colours.

I filled the pockets with some of the chipboard pieces, doilies, papers cut out from the 12x12 sheets and some sticky notes.

I have covered a few of the new monthly, daily, and weekly TN Inserts using the 12x12 papers and some 3x4 elements to decorate. I used a doily on each one to tie them all in together. 

On the first insert I used the great big chipboard unicorn, I just couldn’t resist it!

You can see it here in my TN, you can also see how I made a folder with a selection of the 12x12 papers that I laminated so they were nice and sturdy and edged them with some pretty Pom Pom trim. 

On the back of the inserts which I covered I’ve also added some embellishments, this was to add interest as I flick through my TN. 

When I made the laminated folder I used a snap pocket on the back page to store bits & bobs, again this adds interest throughout the TN.

So there we have it, the beginnings of setting up the beautiful Blush Speckle TN with the dreamy Dream Big collection.

Jeanne here today and I’m so excited to be sharing four cards made with the new Oh Baby! Collection!  This collection is perfect for celebrating the new addition to the family whether it’s for baby’s shower or a warm congratulations.

The collection is a beautiful mix of pastels – the pink, blue, yellow and green you’d expect with a touch of neutral woodgrain.    The papers are perfectly coordinated for mixing and matching so you’ll be able to use every last scrap!

Hello Simple Stories fans.  Iris here documenting one of my precious snapshots of my oldest when she was a little girl playing dressup. If fairies and magic and dreams are big in your family, you're going to love the new Dream Big collection.  It made me and my girls squeal in delight!

I was drawn to use the b-side of the 4x6 Elements because it was similar to the background of my photo, and it has all those twinkling asterisks, which made me think of fairy dust. I wanted to showcase lots of the adorable patterned papers, so I decided to use a cut file (The Cut Shoppe, GeoGlobe).  I liked that I could fill the spaces with lots of paper and it's reminiscent of the facets of gemstones. I raised the entire cut file with foam and left a few open spaces for the background to show through. Contrast stitching helps define all the spaces.

Within the open spaces, I added the little bubble stickers - more fairy dust! - from the Combo Sticker sheet and puffy stars, keeping the bigger chipboard fairy, rainbow, and butterfly pieces on top of the cut file. The Puffy Stickers are my new favorite thing and I made sure to have some in the three clusters surrounding the photo and cut file.  To draw attention to the photo, I matted it in the hot pink dot pattern (b-side of Chase Rainbows).  That chipboard flower and tassel banner is perfect for the photo of my daughter wearing flowers and tutu. And of course so is the fairy that looks a bit like her!

Along with the new puffy stickers, one of my true Simple Stories loves are always the word strips, so of course I made sure to add some of those.  

Lots of great phrases in this collection.  For my title I paired "Sparkle" from the Bits & Pieces pack with "Shine" from the Puffy Stickers, and snipped a teeny "&" from a word strip in the 4x6 Stickers Pack.  

The colors of Dream Big are candy sweet and there are so many dreamy icons and phrases. I barely scratched the surface of the cuteness to use on fun little girl layouts. And it's perfect for everyone who is still a little girl playing dressup at heart!

Hi everyone, it is Kelly here today with a new blogpost about the setup of my Mint Blossom planner. I love the floral print on the front of this planner and coral/pink and beige interior design. For this setup I am using lots of products from the matching Carpe Diem and Simple Stories ‘Bloom’ collection.

First, I made two paperclips and a tag to decorate my front planner pockets. I used some of my punches and the 12x12 papers from the collection to create my own shapes such as butterflies, scalloped circles and leaves. I decorated the shapes with some stickers from the Bloom sticker tablets.

I filled the front pockets of my planner with the decorated paperclips and some stickers and pieces of paper. On the papers, I used a few different scalloped and lace border punches to create a fun effect.

I decorated my ‘This month’ page with some stickers from the collection and sticker tablets. The main decoration of this page is a border of fussycut flowers from the backside of the ‘4x6 elements’ paper. As a background of this floral border I stamped a leave pattern using light-green ink and a stencil.

For my weekly spread I used some fussycut flowers from the ‘Happy times’ paper and some leftover flowers from the ‘4x6 elements’ paper. I glued these flowers on four spots on my weekly spread and decorated the rest of the spread with some planner stickers. Lastly, I wrote in all my to-do’s and appointments.

I had a fit when I saw this Dream Big paper line by Simple Stories. I love how magical this line is and couldn’t wait to start creating these fun cards. 

I used the Dream Big Collection Kit and had so much fun product to play with!!! 

I love all the cute sayings and elements on the sticker sheet!!!! 

These cards will be super cute for any occasion or would be perfect for your snap album!!!!

I just love the bright colours of Hello Summer, so I was pretty excited to use it with some photos from a recent trip to the fair with my family! 

I started off this story in my summer fun album (the SUPER cute Robin’s Egg Stripe Designer) with a vertical 4x6 page protector that holds a 4x4 photo and 2 smaller 2x2 photos. This is a good way to separate different stories in my album and make a mini title page to a smaller story. I used a colourful ferris wheel photo and some of the SN@P! Basic alpha stickers along with some of the 4x6 Hello Summer stickers to give the story a title. I added in a bright word die cut from the bits and pieces in the 2x2 slot.

I added the date on one of the Carpe Diem Tabs sticker tablet - I’ve been using these a ton in my albums, they’re great for adding dates and phrases, especially to these smaller page protectors. You can even get clear stickers to cover them and make them stronger. If you haven’t tried these out you really should! Of all the new things I’ve tried out so far this year, these have been a real favourite.

On the other side of the small page protector I used one of the 4x4 journalling cards and a cut out word from the patterned paper. On the other side I picked a couple of my favourite photos to start off the story. I cut down the Life is Good paper with the rainbow stripes using the Photo Crops and added some chipboard and bits and pieces to make a bold journal card. I embellished my photos using simple bits and pieces and word stickers.

I feel this way with every new collection, but I just LOVE the phrase stickers that come in the Hello Summer 4x6 sticker pack. They’re perfect for adding a few simple words to a photo and are the perfect blend of basic themed phrases and cheeky sayings.

The colours in my fair photos go perfect with the colours in Hello Summer! I pulled out a few of the 3x4 and 4x6 journalling cards that worked with my photos here and added in some cute stickers from  the 4x6 sticker pack, the chipboard stickers and the combo sticker sheet. It’s all just perfect together!

There are a few Hello Summer elements just waiting for some sunglasses and this sun was one of them. Throughout the story I added sunglasses to all of the journal cards that looked like they could use them and between all the different embellishments from the collection I had a number of shades to pick from. These chipboard heart sunglasses are a favourite. 

I finished the story with some more bright journalling cards and embellishments. Once I finished this I realized that the entire story was told with pictures, word stickers and large die cut words. I didn’t pull out a pen once and felt like the pieces of the Hello Summer collection I chose told my story perfectly.

I just had to pull this dorky photo of our annual family ferris wheel ride at the fair from my husband’s Instagram and include it. A simple screenshot and it is in there. I added various phrase stickers here to capture the feeling that summer is really starting. I hope you enjoyed this look at my summer album! I’m just loving the 6x8 size to get our summer fun documented.

Hello Friends! It's Kristine Davidson here today and I'm sharing a layout I recently created using the nice and bright HELLO SUMMER collection. I really enjoy working with nice bright colors and this red with yellow combination screams fun and SUMMER for Me! 

My cousin is currently living in Trinidad and lucky me to have permission to use photos of her and the kids! 

I called this layout BEACH PLEASE because we all want a little sand in our toes! I used a cut file background and cut up individual pieces to create my background. This allowed me to use several papers and really not use that much of a 6x8 sheet. It is also a great way to use some left over pieces and you could also mismatch collections. 

I used some chipboard pieces, stickers and diecuts for my embellishment clusters because that's fun and easy for me to do. I always use the cluster and create different levels with some popdots. Adding some sewing around my cut file also creates a uniform look for me.

 You may have fewer activities and tasks to plan in the summer months but that doesn’t mean that you have to skimp on the decorations. "Hello, my name is Cara and I’m completely addicted to fun, happy, colourful planner products!” I think I added as many pretty products as would fit on this weekly spread! 

I started with blank pages and drew in the week and added the days. Planning with little stickers allows you to layer and layer, so you can add lots without cluttering the pages.  Here I’ve layered stickers and die cuts and I even trimmed down that striped sticker so that it’s a small strip and I cut up the rest and spread it around the spread.

You can see another one here at the top of Friday’s box. Eep, next week Friday is the 13th! Are you superstitious or is Friday the 13th just another day for you? I tend to have good luck, actually! Speaking of numbers, I used the Numbers Sticker Tablet for the dates. I love how the 2 digit numbers are already put together for you, it makes life that much simpler.

I LOVE making planner clips with the chipboard pieces, so I made one with the cute heart shaped sunglasses and also with the flamingo. The clip for the flamingo is actually stuck to the back of it’s body so the clips it hidden by it’s legs! I also gave it a cool pair of sunglasses, too!

The pockets were fun to decorate. I grabbed some of my favourites from the collection and tucked them all in. I layered some of the patterned papers from the 6x8 book and tucked them in the long pocket in the back, added a bit of wash and a flower die cut and done!

Marcia here today. It's summer and my flower gardens are in full bloom. My beautiful flowers inspired me to play with the new Bloom collection. This gorgeous collection is full of bright colorful flowers with an awesome color palette. The black pattern papers make those colorful flowers seem even more vibrant. With all the flowers, it's perfect for scrapping girls of any age.

I arranged my black and white photo at the top of my layout along with a 3x4 journal card layered over one of the black pattern papers. The base of my layout is theEvery Day Countspattern paper. I love the two-toned paper and the mixed patterns.

To create my embellishment clusters, I layered lots of bits and pieces die cuts, stickers, chipboard, and even some fussy cut flowers.

The FAB stickers make an eye catching title with those pretty flowers on the black background.

On the lower half of my layout, I went crazy with phrase stickers mixed in with border stickers from the combo sticker sheet. Machine stitching adds some texture and some foam tape and chipboard adds dimension for interest.

I love all the encouraging phrases and it was fun to combine them all on this layout. I hope you are all having an awesome summer and taking time to smell those beautiful flowers.

Hello friends! It’s Kylie with you today and I’m sharing how I created some pretty planner dashboard/dividers in my new A5, Mint Blossom planner. I’m totally in love with this planner and love the large blossoms featured on its cover.

I thought the new ‘BLOOM’ collection by Simple Stories would be the perfect match for this planner, but loved how it also looked with my cutesy Black Blossom personal planner too! Decisions, decisions! In the end I did decide on my A5…..

I really wanted to personalise my planner by making my own dashboards. This process was made SO easy thanks to the A5 divider templates. There are 3 tabbed templates, however by flipping them and using the back side of them enables you to make 6 tabbed dividers if you wish! So simple, all I did was trace them and cut them out.

The templates also have the ring holes marked that you can punch out, however I used my trusty Carpe Diem planner punch. Once I had them all cut out I loved seeing all the different paper combos of the BLOOM collection stacked in my dividers.

FUN FACT: Did you know the divider templates are also made in the personal planner size??

To reinforce the ring holes and to make them look super pretty, I added some reinforcement stickers from the Tabs Sticker Tablet. There was loads of colours to choose from. I also added some of the adhesive tabs over my dashboard tabs for contrast.

The really fun part was layering the many beautiful papers, die cuts and stickers to each dashboard. Once finished the colours looked amazing!

 Here’s a little look inside my planner once I had added each dashboard. In the inside cover I always love to add some favourite embellishments and the big pockets are perfect for storing sticker sheets.

Whilst using the same collection each divider is completely different-

I added some fun phrase words to each tab sticker from the 6 x 4 Sticker sheets.This will allow me to reuse my dashboards again and again as an added feature to my future planning.

I think my last divider is my favourite……

Hello, everyone! Jana Eubank here today with a layout using the Hometown USA collection. I was inspired by the quilt-like pattern of the All American paper to create a large pieced star on my page.

I cut the geometric star with my Silhoeutte Cameo machine and then backed each section with various patterned papers. I even utilized the 3x4 and 4x6 cut apart cards of the Elements paper. Next, I created another star from two shades of blue cardstock to layer on top, then decorated the center of this star with two more stars cut from navy cardstock and red glitter cardstock. 

I used a few dies from my stash to die cut my title from navy and red glitter cardstock. I love the picnic elements included on thie 6x12 Sticker sheet because they were perfect to emphasize the topic of my page ... our family's patriotic picnic! 

The new "It's a Date" stamps are perfect for adding the date to your scrapbook pages, like I did here.

I placed my photos on top of one another to the right of the star and then accented them with more of the adorable stickers from the 6x12 Sticker Sheet. I especially love the bike and those festive balloons!

The page was feeling visually heavy on the right side, so to balance it out I mimicked the three photos by lining up three of the square stickers from the sticker sheet in the top left corner of the page. I matted a couple of them with navy cardstock to tie them in with the navy cardstock of the large star.

Celebrating the Fourth of July is one of my favorite things about summer! I love getting together with family, laughing, watching parades, and eating good food. How do you celebrate the holiday? Summer Fun in my Traveler’s Notebook

Happy Summer, Planner Friends! Rachel here, and I am sharing my Summer set-up using the Hello Summer Collection in my Traveler’s Notebook. I’m more of a fall and winter girl myself, but this collection has me all excited about that summertime life. A traveler’s notebook is perfect for the summer months. I find myself having less scheduled activities and, instead, wanting more room for lists and journaling. With a month long trip coming up in July, this planner is perfect for documenting all the things while I am away from home. I mean, it is a traveler’s notebook, after all!

Whenever I set up a new planner, I like to start with the pockets. For this setup, I used the chipboard stickers from the collection. To keep them in place, I peeled off a portion of the backing and adhere them inside the pockets. Later, I added in some of the scraps from the paper I used on my notebook covers with a few of the bits and pieces. I have a clear pvc pocket in my notebook that I decorated like a dashboard with a trimmed down 12x12 paper and a card from the 4x6 elements paper.

Do you have an extra notebook with a cover that doesn’t match your planner set-up? Cover it up! I pulled out a Carpe Diem Insert from my stash and covered the front and back cover with my favorite paper from this collection. I used washi to reinforce the spine and another 4x6 element sheet with combo stickers to decorate the cover. Since I will use this insert all summer, I don’t mind having a summer themed cover. If you don’t want a permanently decorated insert, you can always make an insert cover that folds around the insert, like a book jacket! 

The June Simple Stories Printable  is so cute and matched perfect with the Hello Summer Collection! I used this adorable summer graphic to cover the inside of my insert. On the other page, I have the monthly overview from the printable adhered to one of the notebook pages.

I love that the printable comes with a dated monthly calendar that I can stick right into my insert. I decorated the calendar pages with some of the 4x6 stickers and washi. My monthly page is typically pretty empty until the end of the month. I like to go back and fill in highlights when the month is over for memory keeping.

See that? That’s right! We are going to Spain! We will be staying in a Mediterranean beach town, so this sticker seemed pretty applicable!

This insert comes with lined pages, which is perfect for making your own weekly planner pages. I “eyeballed” the daily columns and used the 4x6 Photo crop to draw my lines. Remember that paper I used on the cover? I used scraps of the paper along the bottom of the page to create a faux washi effect.

Do you have something on your planner pages you want to remain private? Or, do you just want more room to decorate? Try making a flip up! For mine, I used paper from the 6x8 paper pad and adhered just the top of the paper to the insert and decorated with a box stickers and a word strip.

The following week, I decided to change up the weekly layout a little bit by having the vertical daily columns go half-way down the page. This allowed me to create a section for lists and some end of the week journaling.

For the month of June, I challenged myself to decorate using mostly the 4x6 sticker pack. Y’all, there are so many stickers on those sheets that even after a month of weekly decorating, I still have stickers left over! I also used a few stickers from the Planner Basics and the Calendar Stickers Tablets. I honestly cannot get enough of the sticker tablets. I can always find a sticker in these tablets to match whatever Simple Stories Collection I am working with.

As I mentioned before, my goal was to stick (haha) to these sticker sheets for my weekly spreads. To make sure I always had them on hand, I performed a little “planner hack” by trimming down a 4x6 pocket page and turning it on its side for sticker storage in my planner. I am not an avid pocket page scrapbooker (I’m learning! ) but I do love using pocket pages for all sorts of things in my planners. Don’t be afraid of the planner hack. Make your supplies work for you!

Hello everyone!!  Jackie G here today!!  I am beyond excited to share a fun card and mini album I created for “someone special”!!  I used the fabulous Good Vibes collection to create both these projects.  I just love this collection so much!!  The colors are so fun and vibrant.  I also love the images…coffee, cellphones, fashion and lots more!!  It’s all so amazing!!  So, let’s get started…

This card was really easy to put together.  I let the stickers and bits & pieces from the collection do all the work for me.  To create the diagonal embossed lines on my white card base, I got out my scoreboard and scored at every half inch.  It was very easy and gave my card some “extra” dimension.

I absolutely love how this mini album turned out!!  Chevron is one of my favorite designs so I knew I wanted to use that paper for my cover.  I loved it so much I ended up using it for the inside cover too!!  To keep my album closed I used a simple binding clip attached to some ribbon.  I tend to scrap chunky so am always needing a sturdy closure.

To create the mini album pages I used a tutorial from Ginger over at My Sister’s Scrapper.  You can find her video tutorial HERE.  You get a lot of real estate for only using one sheet of paper!! 

Speaking about real estate, there are lots of pockets, flip-outs and even an accordion pocket to store all those special moments!!  If you would like to see a full walk-through of this mini album and all of the interactive elements head on over to my YouTube channel.

Jeanne here today sharing four cards made with the new Simple Stories Bloom Collection!   This collection is a mix of soft florals and bold black and white stripes and dots!

This is a complete collection with Bits and Pieces die cuts, 6x12" Chipboard Sticker Sheet, Journaling Elements and even decorative Washi Tape!  You can see the entire collection here.

The chipboard elements make wonderful embellishments!  The chipboard is thick and add lots of dimension to your projects.  The typewriter and florals on this card are all chipboard.  

A 3x4 journaling card (included in the collection kit) is perfect for making images the center of attention.  The Combo sticker includes sentiment strips borders and tabs! 

This sentiment was created by layering  a "bits and pieces" die cut sentiment over a 3x4" elements journaling card.  There is adhesive foam tape between the layers to add dimension. 

You're going to love how each and every piece in this collection is coordinated to work together and the beautiful projects you'll be able to make!

Hello everyone, welcome back to the Simple Stories blog! Leah here and I've got my TN all set up for summer with the Hello Summer collection and I'm excited to share it with you today. I am loving the bright colors and super fun patterns and icons in this line – they were perfect for brightening up my TN setup for July.

It's been awhile since I went a little heavier on my TN pocket décor. Maybe it's the season, but I was feeling the urge to make my setup more fun this month, even if it means my front pockets will be less functional for now. Although, all the extra die cuts and decorative pieces will be great to pull and use when decorating my lists and planner layouts throughout the month.

The patterned papers from the Hello Summer line truly give me all the good summer vibes! I cut some of my favorites down to the size of the TN inserts and wrapped them around the existing notebook covers so that all the inserts would coordinate together. For the front cover, I added some extra layers and die cuts for more interest and dimension. How cute is the little chipboard flamingo sticker?

I love how this TN pocket bookmark/sticker holder project turned out! The base of it is the 12x12 "Just Chillin" patterned paper. I took the similar flamingo patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad and cut out a piece to create the pocket. Cutting around the head and necks of the flamingo gave the pocket a fun extra touch. I fussy cut all the flowers from the 12x12 "Paradise Found" paper and stapled one of the pieces at the top of this pocket for decoration, but also to hold the stickers more securely in the pocket so they will stay in place if my TN is turned upside down.

Overall, I am loving everything about the Hello Summer collection and can't wait to keep using it in my TN all summer long. Have you picked up this collection yet?
