Violet Ballew's Blog Posts

Wow! I am so impressed. Violet, here on the blog today to share my new Carpe Diem Planners. The gold rings and charms take my breath away, there is a simple elagance to the new planners that I love. I couldn't choose which to share, thus, why I have to share all three in a fun creative planning layout.

First up is the Pink Ballerina by The Reset Girl. I used the new Carpe Diem scrapbook collection to make a new dashboard. I stuffed my pockets with Bits and Pieces, Metal Clips, decorative clips, and journaling cards. I even laminated the sticky notes and inserted them into the pocket. The Pinks and Orange and mint greens look so gorgeous in the planner.

Secondly, is the new Ivory Carpe Diem planner. When I open it, the quote "Choose to Shine" is the first thing I see, and how beautiful, that it is all in Gold. I chose to decorate this planner with the Posh collection line. The yellow, pink and Navy are a perfect combination.

Third, is the new Robin's Egg Carpe Diem planner. One of the changes that I was so impressed with, was the whole planner being one solid color. I used all the same pieces to embellish all my planners. Another element that took me by surprise, is all the gold that is included in the journaling Card Elements and Paper products. This just adds just a bit more class to my planners and makes me one happy planner girl.

As I was taking my photos for the blog, I knew I wanted to take a photo of all the new paperclips that are now part of the new collection lines. I've said many times how much I love paperclips and you'll even see some I made. These truly make all the difference when planning.

Thank you all once again for stopping by the blog and taking the time to read and view my post. I really appreciate it. I hope I have inspired some of you to get your creative juices flowing and create something new. The new Posh and The Reset Girl Collections make it so easy.

Hello, everyone! Independence Day, Boom, Boom, Boom is what most of us will be hearing. Fireworks, blasting away,  it's a reminder of our freedom! It is a time to be grateful for those who have sacrificed their freedom so that we can have ours. This is what 4th of July means to me. This month I have used the Hero Simple Set along with pocket pages in my Carpe Diem planner.

The Elements with all the Red White and blue were perfect for this patriotic page. The elements cards are a perfect fit for my pocket pages. Below you will find the front and back decorated with Fundemental stickers and Expression stickers. They added just the right amount of color and decor.

Let me introduce you to my heroes, my Father-in-Law Tom and my Brother George. They  both have taken time out of their lives to ensure we have a life of our own. I am so very proud to call them my heroes.

Next you will find pockets full of patriotic goodness. I grabbed some of the stickers and ran them through a laminator, trimmed them and hot glued them to a paperclip and secured the back with a piece of felt. I measured and trimmed the paper to fit in the pockets and also used some of the cut apart elements.

The Heroes collection kit is a blast. I am so blessed to be able to live in the United States of America. I want to take this time to say thank to everyone who has fought for and defended our freedom. You all are true heroes!

Hi it's me Violet! This week I decided to chill with my Gnomies by using the Bloom & Grow collection kit in my Aqua Carpe Diem planner. I started off by making five tabbed dividers. Two of them regular and !three folders. The stickers worked best for the tabs.

What I really love about the paper is that it is double sided, therefore, it's awesome for making pocket folder dividers. They hold so many planner goodies and the journaling card elements and stickers fit perfectly in the pockets. I couldn't resist adding the "to gnome is to love me" journaling card to my planner. It makes me smile & giggle every time I see it. I used several of the stickers and enamel dots to embellish the dividers.

I used the A5 Basic Inserts for the current week of planning. The first picture I took was before the pen.  I absolutely love using these, it makes it so easy to plan. How adorable and functional are the 4x6 Stickers? They definitely make a picture perfect weekly planner  spread.

Thank you to everyone who took time once again to stop by the blog. Bloom & Grow is definitely one of my favorite kits. I struggled with what I wanted to create and made so many items. I wish I could fit it all on this post, but seriously you all would be here all day. Till next time.
