Jackie Gallagher's Blog Posts

Hello everyone!!  Jackie G here on the blog today to share a fun set of Halloween Cards using the fabulous “Happy Halloween” Simple Set.  I am so incredibly excited for Halloween!!  It is my favorite holiday!!  How about you??  I can’t wait to send these spooky cards out to family and friends!!

I decided to make a set of six cards and a matching box to keep them all in!!  These little boxes are so easy to make!!  Perfect for those larger scrap pieces you have left over!!  You can find lots of tutorial on YouTube!!

The first two cards I decided to use black cardstock for the base of my card.  I love being able to write my note in a white gel pen.  I find small details like that make it extra fun for your recipient!!  I made sure to use lots of foam tape on my stickers to give extra dimension!!

On the next two cards I cut apart some of the journaling cards to use as my embellishments.  Again, using lots of foam tape for dimension.  I’m a chunky crafter and feel a card can never have “too much” dimension!!  Sometimes it requires extra postage…but that’s okay!!

The last two cards I used journaling cards as my main embellishment.  These two cards are much simpler than the others but still just as cute!!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy these fun and spooky set of cards!!  Make sure to pick up your own “Happy Halloween” Simple Set and craft away!!!

Hello everyone!!  Jackie G here on the blog today!!

I don’t know about you, but I am always in need of some boy cards.  Not sure why, but they are always the hardest to create.  I absolutely LOVE the newest boy collection Lil’ Dude!!  This collection works for all ages and I love that!!

All four of these cards were created with just scraps I had left over from the mini album I created a couple months ago.  The this first set of cards I wanted to show something more elaborate and something simple.  The card on the left I used a couple different pattern papers, bits and pieces and stickers!!  I used LOTS of dimension for this card!!  For something much simpler I only popped up the dinosaur and stars.

The next set of cards I focused on the cute little pug dog.  One card is geared more towards a “little one” and other for an older child.  I made sure to put stars on all 4 cards so they would all flow together and work as a set!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Hello everyone!!  Jackie G here on the blog today to share a fun little card and mini album using the Dream Big collection.  I created this little gift for my son to give to his girlfriend.  They are 5 and 6 years old and are inseparable!!  They share a love for unicorns so this paper collection is perfect!!  Young love and unicorns!!

Since this album is going to a 5-year-old I wanted the front to have a fun interactive feature so opted for a shaker element.  Lots of glitter, hearts and sequins to create some “unicorn sparkles”.  Paired up with the Be Younique rainbow paper it makes for a fun scene.

This mini album may be fairly small but can hold lots of photos…and let’s just say we are going to need the space!!  These two love to take photos together!!  The 4x6 and 4x4 papers make perfect photomats!!  If you would like to see a full walk through of this album you can head on over to my YouTube channel HERE.

I only created two pages for this mini album but they are pocket pages so both have inserts for extra photos!!

The last page I used the space to create a big waterfall full of photomats, twelve to be exact!!  I ran out of magnets so a paperclip and ribbon closure.

Lastly, a gift isn’t complete without a card!!  Using some left over stickers and bits and pieces I had from the album.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today!!  Don’t forget to head on over to my channel for a walkthrough of this mini album!!
