Dorymar Perez's Blog Posts

Hello Friends! It’s Dorymar back on the blog today to share a beautiful 6X8 Sn@p Album I designed with the stunning So Happy Together.   I fell in love with this collection as soon as I saw it: flowers, hearts, pastel colors, they work beautifully together! This collection is perfect to document memories of your family and friends, so here is my fun project!

This collection is full of beautiful pastel colors, that's why I selected the new 6x8 Blush Sn@p Binder, because it combines perfectly well with the collection.

The collection is dedicated to home, family and friends, on the cover I wanted to capture the main theme for what I’ll use this project, THE FAMILY. I used several elements of the collection to make the perfect combination. On the cover I used 6x8 papers, die cuts of the ephemera packs, chipboard, 3x4 journaling cards, etc.  All are glued with foam tape to create layers and each element can stand out perfectly.

For my first page I created an open up flap using the Sn@p page as a base and a 6x8 patterned paper from the 6x8 Paper Pad. I created two holes at the top of the page to add a beautiful ribbon, I selected the FAMILY word and a cute sentiment from the Sticker Sheet as a title.  I added cute bunch of flowers and white twine to finish it up!

On left page I added two removable mats using magnets. On the top they have space for photos and on the back there is space for the journal. For the layout on the right, I used as a base one of the 6x8 patterned paper, I cut different sizes of paper to create fun layers behind the photo mat.  I decorated around with stickers.

I used some embellishments from the collection to create small cluster in the center of the page. They match perfectly together.

I love to create a different size of pages inside my albums, on the right page I reduced one of the pages of the album to 4.5 and used a 4x6 journaling card as a mat for the photo. Around it I incorporated messages from the mini sticker tablet, die cuts and the beautiful family word from the chipboard stickers.

On the back of the page I created two pockets.  To made them, I glued the 4x6 card from the front of the page with a pocket to the side and on the back, I glued the 4x4 card creating a pocket on the top. I used several paper sizes to create the inserts and tag.

The collection has many cute house elements, for this layout, I created clusters with the embellishments of the collection to simulates a house living room. They look super cool.

Since I love to have space for a lot of photos, I added a few flaps.  This gave me more space for extra photos.

These two pages are ones of my favorites because I love the patterns, the colors and, the embellishments.  I was able to use many of my favorite beautiful elements of the collection and it has space for many photos.

Here are a few close-ups of the spreads.  As you can see, I used many of the collection’s beautiful embellishments.

I hope I've inspired you to document your home and family memories in a fun snap album with the fantastic So Happy Together collection.

Hi friends, It’s Dorymar today I’m back to share with you a super colorful and fun mini album with the Say Cheese Christmas Collection.  This collection between the bright colors has a touch of black, this is why I selected the 6x8 Black Leather Album .

For the cover I used a red and white stripe 1.5” ribbon and created a big bow in the top edge of the album.  I added three jingle bells in the center of the bow and hanging with twine I added a tag with a Christmas feeling. For the title I used the Merry Christmas Sticker.

This album doesn’t include the page dividers so I went ahead and incorporated my own.  To create the page divider on the right I selected the b-side of the Magical Holidays paper and cut it at 6x8.  In the top, I added a 3¾x12 stripe folded at 3 and 6 to create an open side belly band.   The belly band hold a 5x7 card to add my pictures and journal.

I created a fun cluster of die cuts at the top of the belly band to open it.  The inside of the belly band has space for three pictures (one 5x3” and two 2.5x3”).  For the title of this page I used the “merry” word from the chipboard stickers.

In the following pages I incorporated de Fun Words metal dies to from the Say Cheese 4 Collection.   I think they are very practical, and you can use them as many times as you can.  For the right page, I had to cut the FUN word from the Magical Holidays paper and then, I used the Making Spirits Bright as a base and two more different patterned papers for additional layers.  Then I decorated it with die cuts and phrase stickers.

These pages are one of my favorites in this project, on the left page I created a flap that opens to the side with one of the 4x6 cards that the collection includes. For the pocket page on the left I had to cut the word "magic" in black and created a beautiful background incorporating twine and buttons.

I created the page on the right reducing the "Best Christmas Ever" paper to 10 ¾ x 8” and folded it in 6” to create an open side page.  On top of the page, I created a 4x4 pocket with one of the 4x4 journaling cards.  I added some of the fun die cuts with foam tape to decorate it.

One of the traditions of Christmas is to give gifts to your family and friends, that is why in Christmas collections gifts can’t be missing. For the left page I made some gift pockets and when you pull up the top of the gift you discover space to add your photos and your journal. Its super cute and fun.

I decorated the top of the gifts with the beautiful poinsettias flowers that the bits and pieces pack includes, all are glued with foam tape to give the dimension that I love so much.

I can't stop incorporating the beautiful 2x2 cards that the collection includes, all are full of beautiful designs. I added to my album one 2x2 Insta-Pocket Pages to add space for this stunning 2x2 cards.  They look fantastic!

You will love this collection for any of your holiday fun photos, it’s colorful, bright, fun and so beautiful!!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope this project inspired you to create your own one!

Happy Crafting!

Hello everyone!  Dorymar here today sharing a beautiful Christmas Snap Album with the vintage and majestic Country Christmas Collection.  When I saw this collection, I fell in love instantly with the vintage look, the colors, elements, and designs. Christmas just around the corner and this project is a unique way to document your holiday season.

This Collection includes a beautiful Sn@p binder in combination with the collection, where if you wish you can add some element, or you can also leave it as it comes because it’s spectacular! But in my case, I always love to decorate my cover and to create it I use a few elements from all the beautiful embellishments that the collection includes.

The cover design includes a big Christmas wreath, to personalize it I added a Giant “Believe” word from the sticker sheet and closer her I added the big poinsettia flower and bingo card from the sticker sheet too.  To give a cute texture I added 2 mini pinecones and twine.  I think looks AMAZING!

The Country Christmas Sn@p Binder comes with some great ready to go dividers which includes beautiful designs in combination with the collection papers.   I didn't have to work hard to personalize my dividers, I just added some elements and they were ready. For these pages I only had to add some chipboards, die cuts and stickers and the pages were ready.

I used the Joyous Noel 12x12 paper to create these two beautiful layouts. The big vintage Santa, it’s Amazing, I love it so much!  To decorate the pages I used stickers, bits and pieces and chipboard from the Country Christmas collection to embellish the layout by creating little clusters next to the photo mat.

It fascinates me to add tags in my albums and in this case I used a fantastic pocket page that includes the album to incorporate my tags.  To create them I cut two pieces from the “Glad Tidings” 12x12 page measuring 3.5” x 7”.  On the next page I used several papers from the collection to create pockets and tags. I loved the 4x4 card with the "peace and love" sentiment.  Then I add ribbons to give a cute look.

The collection has many deer, I wanted to match the collection with my tags and for this use a digital file to cut the deer horns. I think this gave a unique touch to these tags. They look very cute!

The album also includes beautiful little dividers that are super cute, you just must give it your personal touch. To decorate mine I used ribbons, buttons and elements included in the collection to make them look more beautiful than they are.

To decorate the back side of the album dividers I used papers and cards from the collection to create flaps, then decorated it adding stickers and one of the beautiful borders that includes the Border Sticker sheet.  These pages house space for many photos.

I love how my Snap turned out.  So, I’m ready to document my Christmas memories. I hope you check the entire Country Christmas Collection because it’s one of the most beautiful collections for upcoming Christmas season.

Happy Scrapping!
