Marcia here today with some Simple Stories Domestic Bliss inspiration. This is such a fun collection for your everyday photos around the house. The tongue in cheek humor will make you laugh, guaranteed! The pattern papers are gorgeous with colors perfect for Spring paper crafting too.

For my first layout, I wanted to scrap a family photo with the 4x6 journal card with a house and the quote "Love my home, love the people there". I thought it would be fun to mimic one of the pattern papers with pie charts and create my own super-sized pie chart. I sized one of the openings to fit the journal card, then backed the other spaces with different pattern papers. Here is how it turned out...

I embellished with a Bits & Pieces die cut house, sofa, lamp, and picture frame to reinforce the home theme. I then added some chipboard flowers and enamel dots for dimension.

This collection has some wonderful Decorative Brads and Epoxy Metal Clips.

For my title "BLISS", I used some stickers from the 4x6 Sticker Sheets. You can also see one of the Domestic Bliss washi tapes just under my photo. Aren't those hearts just perfect!

I also made a couple of box cards using the World's Best Mom cut file from SVGcuts. These are so fun. I love that they can be used as decor pieces too and give joy to the recipient for many days.

Wouldn't this make a great housewarming card! I used stickers from the 4x6 sticker sheets for my sentiment on the back of the card. This floral pattern paper is one of my favorites. I love those dainty flowers.

and check out that Decorative Brads alarm clock ... it makes the perfect stove timer, lol. Enamel dots are used for the burner dials on the front of my stove.

Here is what the card looks like from a top down view...

Box cards are a bit addicting, so of course I made a second one, For this box card, I created this wonderful teapot, This one showcases another gorgeous floral pattern paper combined with the pink dotted pattern paper. Chipboard sticker flowers and buttons are combined with a flower sticker and sentiment.

On the back side of the teapot I used a pretty vase of flowers and a "Mom Rules" sticker.

Here is another view so you can see the dimension. A gift card would fit perfectly taped on the inside.

The Domestic Bliss collection is a must in my book and one of my favorites from CHA. Be sure to check it out.  Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great week!

Hello blogging friends!

I am sharing some fabulous Simple Stories Love & Adore layouts with you today. For this first one, featuring a photo of my niece and her boyfriend, I really wanted to play up the hearts. This awesome cut file is from JustNick Studios. I loved that it had this big "X" in the middle. I thought it was perfect to showcase the Love & Adore washi tape. This heart washi tape is a new favorite of mine. To make the hearts pop even more, I backed portions of the cut file with the beautiful ombre pink pattern paper from the collection.

Here is a closer look at that heart washi tape.

That beautiful chipboard sticker banner anchors my photo. I added a pop of yellow with a chipboard sticker heart and enamel dots.

The chipboard sticker "XOXO" makes a great title layered over some bits and pieces die cuts. You can also see some of those cute phrase stickers here.

I love how this layout came together so easily.

For my second layout, I wanted to scrap this awesome selfie my daughter took where she is giving her dog a smooch. Take a look ...

I concentrated most of my embellishments near the photo. The paper is so beautiful by itself  I did not want to cover it up too much, To frame my photo I used a fun new cut file from JustNick Studios called Ring Around My Heart.

There are lots of gorgeous layers of eye candy here. Check out those phrase stickers I used again on this layout.

I used the chipboard word "Sweet" for my title and the "I Love Your Face" bits and pieces die cut for my subtitle. Perfect! Just look at that dog's face ... lol.

In the upper left is another cluster of embellishments. I love tucking the round stickers from the 4x6 sticker sheets underneath so the text at the top peeks out. The sticker I used here says "KISS".

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Stock up on the Love & Adore collection for scrapping the photos of those you love.

Hello Simple Stories friends!

Marcia here today with some Classic Christmas inspiration. There are so many things I love about this collection, the plaid patterns, the classic red and green colors, ... did I mention the plaid? Oh yes, plaid is showing up everywhere. At first I thought this collection would be so great for scrapping my guys, but then I found these pictures of my daughter with reindeer antlers on her head and wearing a plaid dress. Adorable! I had to scrap those pictures with the Classic Christmas collection. Here is 'Reindeer Games' ...

I fussy cut this cute reindeer out and gave him a red nose with one of the enamel dots. Now it matches my daughter's red nose!

So many fun things to layer; the die cut bits and pieces, the gorgeous bradz, and even a roller stamp to add a few Christmas phrases.

This collection has some festive washi tape too. You can see the red stripped washi under my photos and the christmas words washi over my center photo and at the bottom of my layout. The metal clips are super adorable too.

I don't know about you, but I love crafting for Christmas. I make a lot of cards to mail out. Lots of my Aunts and Uncles I don't get to see very much and a Christmas letter and a card helps keep in touch with them. Unfortunately some are in senior care facilities and I like my card to double as Christmas decor for them. These Christmas box cards are just the ticket ...

This JOY card has lots of beautiful layers. Here is what it looks like from a top down angle.

and best of all ... they fold flat for mailing!

I must still be a little girl at heart, because this sled sure looks like so much fun. I had one just like it when I was little. Hopefully it stirs up fond memories for Aunts and Uncles too.

Along with the sled you can see Christmas presents, a candle lit lantern, and fun ice skates. Doesn't that wreath look great on that door!

Here is what it looks like folded flat.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
