Hello Simple Stories friends!

Marcia here today with a Lil' Dude layout to share with you. This is such an awesome boy collection. I love the bright primary colors and the typical boy images of dinosaurs, cars, dogs, and frogs. I knew it would be the perfect collection to scrap this photo of my nephew playing at a park. Big adventures are dreams here where there are dinosaurs and dinosaur eggs that the kids can crawl in and around. Lil' Dude helped me capture his adventure to remember for years later...

I used a font called Adrian Stars to create my title; You Rock. I arranged the title around a circle with some of the chipboard dinosaurs as embellishment and well as some dinosaur footprints.

The Be Wild, Be Free, Be You bits and pieces die cut went with the dinosaur theme. I added a puffy arrow sticker on top to add some dimension.

Under the photo is a fun chipboard banner and I could not resist adding the Rawr puffy sticker over the photo. I can just hear my nephew Rawring as he peaks his head out of that dinosaur egg as if he were a dinosaur that had just hatched.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you check out the Simple Stories Lil' Dude collection for capturing all your boy's favorite adventures too.

Hello Simple Stories friends!

Marcia here today with a cute Oh, Baby layout for you. I am smitten with the soft pastel colors in this collection making it perfect for either boys or girls. What better way to document those photos then with the Oh, Baby collection. With it's gender neutral tones it's perfect for baby boys as well as baby girls. Today I am scrapping this hospital photo of my cute little nephew.

The main focus of my layout is this To The Moon digital cut file from JustNick Studios cut from the yellow gingham pattern paper. I used the star openings to do some string art. I love the texture it adds. This chipboard sticker bear is just adorable, isn't he.

I trimmed my photo to be heart shaped to fit the cut file heart dangling from the moon and added a chipboard sticker bow where the heart is connected to the moon.

To add interest to the background, I used a cloud stencil and blue distress oxide ink to create some fluffy blue clouds. The stars leftover from the cut file were then scattered across my page along with some star stickers.

Along the right edge of my layout I added the tape measure paper. To soften things, I also added a punched eyelet lace edge. Over this I placed a cloud and this adorable bear riding in a hot air balloon.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Be sure to check out the Oh, Baby collection ...  and did you know there is also an Oh, Baby Expecting and an Oh, Baby Adoption too!

Marcia here today with an adorable Oh, Baby layout for you. Come on, admit it ... we all take tons of photos of babies! They grow so fast over a short period of time and we want to remember every moment. What better way to document those photos then with the Oh, Baby collection. With it's gender neutral tones it's perfect for baby boys as well as baby girls. I couldn't resist scrapping this photo of my cute little nephew...

I printed my photo in a sepia tone to coordinate with the brown tones in the papers. Because I absolutely loved every piece of pattern paper in this collection, I wanted to use as much of it as possible on this layout. I did that by cutting banner strips and arranging them along the top of my layout. Then I matted my photo with some blue pattern paper and used foam adhesive to give it some dimension. So many cute little adorable animals and other baby die cuts and stickers make embellishments choices a breeze.

At the bottom of my layout I arranged stickers, die cuts, and a fabulous chipboard title.
