Hello Simple Stories fans!

Marcia here today with a fun layout created with the awesome Travel Notes collection. This collection is perfect for documenting your wanderlust adventures. A couple years ago, my daughter was fortunate enough to spend a summer backpacking across Europe with a friend. They started their adventure in Dublin Ireland. These photos were some of the first ones she sent to me.

I created a cluster of embellishments in the lower right corner of my layout with the Itinerary tag to document the location. You can see stickers, chipboard elements, and some of the Bits & Pieces die cuts all deliciously layered on top of each other.

I used a digital cut file for my title cutting Adventure twice, the second time from the map pattern paper. I popped it up with some foam tape and added some fun clear stickers, phrase stickers, and more chipboard.

The compass point was fussy cut from pattern paper. I love how it looks with my title layered over the top.

A smaller cluster of embellishments is located in the lower left. I used phrase stickers on top of my photos and added the wanderlust and car from the clear stickers pack.

I love how this turned out. I know that the Travel Notes collection will be perfect for documenting your adventures too. Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Hello Simple Stories fans!

Marcia here today with a Spring layout I created with the gorgeous Simple Stories Bliss collection. I just love the soft purples, pinks, and greens in this collection with the pops of black. It is so perfect for Spring photos. I dug out some older photos of my daughter where she was wearing a purple jacket and blowing bubbles from the front steps.

I wanted to use lots of circles on my layout to reinforce the bubble theme. I used a variety of pattern papers and cut my circles in different sizes, arranging them on my layout so the larger circles were in the middle and the smaller ones are at the top and bottom. I mixed in a few circles cut from vellum as well. I even framed one of my photos using a circular cut file.

I like mixing fonts for my title. I used an Outline Alpha here for 'Bubble' as I wanted the letters to resemble bubbles and combined it with the scripty 'Bliss' chipboard text.

The Clear Stickers were perfect for adding even more dimensional bubbles with adorable butterflies or fun text. Then I embellished with more chipboard, adorable bits and pieces, and phrase stickers.

I love how this turned out! I know the Bliss collection would be perfect for your Spring scrapping too.

Hello Simple Stories friends! Marcia here today for some layout inspiration with the beautiful Simple Stories Faith collection. This collection has some gorgeous pattern papers along with faith based die cuts and verses and can definitely be used for scrapbooking and cardmaking in addition to Bible journaling.

For my first layout I Have No Greater Joy, I am not scrapping a religious photo but the photo goes well with the biblical verse I chose to use for my title. I used one of my favorite pattern papers for the background. I didn't want to cover too much of the paper up, so I die cut a larger title and used a single photo in the lower corner.

The negative space of my title is backed with white cardstock and to emphasize the word Joy, I backed it with a pretty floral pattern paper. Then I added the die cut words using a script font in navy over the top. Mixing fonts and colors in a title adds interest.

I kept the embellishments to a minimum, using only the chipboard sticker butterflies, enamel dots, and a couple of stickers.

For my second layout I really wanted to scrap some photos from my nephew's baptism. In I Am A Child Of God, I used a big sun die cut to symbolize God's grace. I love how bright and happy this turned out.

I added texture by machine stitching the yellow sun rays. The Grace chipboard sticker adds dimension as does the butterfly.

I love this cute little sheep Bits & Pieces die cut. The verse was perfect for my baptism photos too.

Under the photos you can see one of the Faith collection's washi tapes with words of inspiration adorning it. Isn't it beautiful! I embellished with some chipboard sticker flowers, decorative brads and enamel dots.

The 3x4 journaling card makes for a perfect title.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great week!
