Jana Eubank's Blog Posts

Instead of stringing garland on a Christmas tree, why not switch things up a bit and create a garland from Christmas trees? Hello there! It's Jana Eubank. My page today features a banner of Christmas trees across the top that I fussy-cut from a page of the Merry and Bright 6x8 paper pad.

I arranged the trees in a slight curve and then used my sewing machine to stitch them together.

After stitching them, I tucked thin foam squares behind each tree to lift them up a bit and then accented a few of them with phrase and flower stickers from the Merry and Bright Combo Sticker Sheet.

I used a journal block from the Merry and Bright SN@P! Cards to add the details about my photos. Cutting around the bracket shape of the journal block adds interest. I added some greenery and phrases from the Bits & Pieces and Combo Sticker Sheet as accents.

Another 3x4 Merry and Bright SN@P! Card makes a quick and easy title for this page, and the large fussy-cut Santa (Merry and Bright 6x8 Paper Pad) is so cute peeking out from behind the photos.

As you take down your holiday decorations this year, try looking at them with new eyes and see if there is an idea you can incorporate into your next scrapbook page. Creating a garland or banner on your layout is a great place to start!

Hello! Jana Eubank here. Traditions are an integral part of our Christmas celebrations each year and definitely deserve a spot in your family album. The Simple Vintage Christmas collection has that classic Christmas vibe that allows these memories to shine.

I love the images of Santa in this collection! Look how cute this die cut is ... he is definitely keeping an eye out to see who is being naughty or nice!

I also really love the greenery images from this collection ... especially the holly and berries. I made sure each embellishment cluster on this page had holly, tying them all together and adding a cohesive look to the design.

The chipboard Layered Frames for this collection are a must-have! The layered look will effortlessly make your main photo the star of the show!

Hello, Simple Stories Fans! It's Jana Eubank back to share a scrapbook page using my favorite Forever Fall Collection

I love the name of this collection, because if there is one season I would want to last forever, it would definitely be Fall! I love everything about it, the rich colors, the coziness, everything! I wanted to embody that feeling on this next page about my daughter.

First of all, the Be Grateful paper with it's denim pattern ... SWOON! I could use this paper for every layout this season! I cut out the heart from the 4x4 Elements paper and paired it with the chipboard fox to use as a large accent next to my die cut title.

Next, I wanted to do something special around this cute photo of my daughter. I used an electronic die cutting machine to cut out several large leaves and then backed them with the Gather Together, Changing Leaves, and Pumpkin Everything papers.

I then used my sewing machine to stitch around the outer edges and veins of the leaves, giving them lots of cozy texture!

Finally, I fussy-cut the large floral element from the 4x6 Horizontal Elements paper and gathered several other floral die cuts and stickers to tuck in among the leaves. The result is a fun way to show off a favorite photo!

Happy Fall!
